Puppet Builder

I consider each new puppet as an opportunity to try something different. Making mistakes is okay, its how we learn. Each puppet teaches us new techniques and how to make the next puppet even better.

The following is a small gallery of some of the puppets that I have built.

Unintentional Significance: A Puppet Show About Everything and Nothing

In 2021, I began construction on over two dozen puppets for my show “Unintentional Significance: A Puppet Show About Everything and Nothing.” The majority of the puppets were made out of materials that one could find in the trash, home or thrift store.

Wizard Security Guard Puppets

The Know Theatre of Cincinnati contacted me and asked if I would make a few Wizard Security Guard Puppets for the 2019 production of Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic by Matt Cox. Three were made for the production.

Shadow Puppet Show from Hot Damn! It's The Loveland Frog!

In 2014, I was asked by Hugo West Theatricals to be the Puppet Director for their new musical, Hot Damn! It's The Loveland Frog! A Bluegrass Musical. I created the shadow puppets and directed the actors for that portion of the show.
